As the 2008-09 school year opens, we welcome all Middle Country students and staff to a new year of learning and growth.  We also invite you, as parents, guardians and community members to join us in the collaborative efforts needed to realize our goal of improving the future of ALL our students through teaching and learning.  We believe that “Together Everyone Achieves More.”

Middle Country is a school district of fine accomplishments and even greater promise for the future. We believe it is our responsibility to foster a learning environment where expectations are high for all students and staff, and where we accept the obligation to “empower and inspire all students to apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to be creative problem solvers, to achieve personal success and to contribute responsibly in a diverse and dynamic world.”

The coming school year is filled with challenging academic pursuits, many curricular and co-curricular activities, and community service opportunities that supplement the strong instructional program we offer.  We urge all community members to participate in district-wide committees, our wonderful theatrical productions and concerts, our exciting sporting events, PTA events, and thoughtful fund-raisers.

This calendar provides you, our school community, with important dates and information about your school.  It is also a map to the wide variety of District functions we offer.  We look forward to, and welcome, your participation and involvement in your school district.
