The Middle Country Central School District at Centereach will now be using an automated system for sex offender notifications.  Postcards will not be mailed.  To be placed on the automated e-mail list for notifications, please go to the district’s website's main page (www.mccsd.net) and click the link  under quick links titled Megan’s Law and NY Sex Offender Registry.  Follow the directions to register for the Sex Offender E-mail Alert Program or call the Megan’s Law Hotline between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at 631-689-2672.

For those in the Middle Country Central School District at Centereach with a computer at home but no Internet or email access, Parents for Megan’s Law will provide material on how to get a free Internet access via the Suffolk County Public Library system and a free Yahoo e-mail account.  For those without a computer, Parents for Megan’s Law will show residents how to set up the same accounts using a library computer if you call their hotline.
