Sara Choit - Assistant Principal Centereach High School

  • Sara ChoitMs. Choit holds a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Services, Education, and Public Policy from the University of Delaware, a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Hofstra University, and an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from Long Island University at C.W. Post. Prior to joining Centereach High School, she was an Assistant Principal on both the building and district levels for the Sewanhaka Central High School District and was an ENL Teacher at Paul D. Schreiber High School in the Port Washington Union Free School District.

    She is both honored and excited to join the Centereach High School family as an Assistant Principal.  She believes that Centereach High School and the community are truly special places. She is dedicated to promoting high academic achievement by creating a learning environment that recognizes the social-emotional, intellectual, and diverse needs of all students and staff while building a culture of trust, accomplished through fairness, honesty, and compassion. It is her goal to inspire and challenge students to be lifelong learners and help them to feel successful, valued, and safe. She looks forward to being a part of the Centereach High School administrative team and working to provide the best possible education for her students.
