Mrs. Pelan was hired as the Assistant Principal at Newfield High School in 2013. Throughout her ten years at Newfield she worked with many different students, helping them to reach their potential and supported them to take on new challenges as they entered adulthood. Recently, Mrs. Pelan wanted to take on a new challenge, working at the elementary level to help the students to begin their educational journey to become successful life longer learners and contributors to the Middle Country Community. Mrs. Pelan is looking forward to working at New Lane Elementary School with Mrs. Newberg to create a positive place for students to learn and grow. Our motto this year is New Year, New Results, New Beginnings, New Lane.
