Brigit DiPrimo – Assistant Principal Newfield High School
I grew up on Long Island and graduated from Syosset High School. I attended Nassau Community College and received my Associates Degree and subsequently continued my undergraduate education at Molloy College majoring in both Education and Communication Arts. I completed my Masters Degree at Stony Brook University where I continued on to receive my advanced certificate in Educational Computing and Educational Leadership.
I was fortunate enough to be an elementary educator for 14 years teaching a variety of grades prior to becoming an administrator. During my years as an administrator, I served as an Elementary Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal, High School Assistant Principal and Assistant Director of Pupil Personnel Services.
I am thrilled to join the team at Newfield High School and I look forward to getting to know the staff, students, and families that make up the fabulous Newfield family!
The opportunity to help students learn and grow in a safe and caring environment has always been a top priority for me as an administrator. Together with the Newfield team and our Newfield families, I am excited to help students reach their maximum potential and motivate them to reach for the stars!
