Katie’s education began here in the Middle Country School District.

She continued her education at St. Joseph’s College where she received her bachelor's degree. Katie then went on to earn her master’s degree from Long Island University, C.W. Post and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership through Stony Brook University.

Katie has been teaching in the district since 2007. Throughout her years she has expressed how each student, parent, colleague, administrator, stakeholder has left an impact on her as an educator. She is grateful for all the time she has had in the classroom but is looking forward to her new role as a Special Education Coordinator.  As a leader, Katie’s goal is to be able to have an even greater impact in the Middle Country School District community. She is proud to be part of the PPS team.
