The Newfield High School Mock Trial team has qualified for the Suffolk County playoff tournament for the 2022-23 school year.  The team prepares both sides of a court case put out by the New York State Bar Association and competes against other schools in the area.  The students are entering the tournament with 3 wins and 1 loss.  They scored victories against Mattituck, Sachem North, and Half Hollow Hills East en route to the number 8 seed in the tournament.  The team will begin the playoff rounds on March 8th at the Islip Court House.
