Students are eligible for priority registration from March 18-24-- and open registration begins March 25. They will take registrations after that date, but keep in mind that the popular classes/times fill quickly, and students may not be able to register for their top choice.

Applications must be typed. Students must meet the GPA requirement of 85 or above.  New students can take 3 credits during their 1st semester in the program. Returning students can take up to 7 credits!

Students could earn up to 1 year of college credits before graduating high school and receive a tuition discount--$65 per credit!

Summer classes will be delivered in the following modalities:
 ▪ Blended - partly on campus and partly Online or Real-Time Online
▪ Combined Online (COMBINEONL) - 50% Online and 50% Real-Time Online meeting times with your instructor
▪ Online (ONLINE) - instruction is provided by the professor through BrightSpace, the college’s learning management system, and students interact with faculty and complete assignments working on their own time while adhering to course deadlines
▪ Real-Time Online (RLTIME ONL) - recreates a classroom experience with your instructor and other class members using live virtual instruction on scheduled days and times
▪ Traditional – all class meetings on campus, in person

Completed applications must be submitted to your School Counselor. All applications must be typed.  Please visit the ECP website www.sunysuffolk.edu/earlycollege for full program details. Please note, placement testing is still waived at this time. In addition to the 85 or higher GPA requirement, students should have also achieved 80% or above in major academic subjects so they are eligible for college level placements in reading, writing and math. Current sophomores taking Regents Geometry and doing well should be eligible for a college level placement in math. The same for juniors currently taking Algebra II.
