I am Doreen Feldmann, and I am a Newfield High School alumna who has proudly served as a school board trustee for almost 18 years, starting my service as a PTA member. My extensive Board of Education and business experience has assisted in the implementation of the Career Exploration and Job Shadowing Program and a certified welding course for senior students with Suffolk County College, and supported the installation of Districtwide solar power and electric car chargers. I champion the Board’s commitment to student mental health and academic rigor, advocating for strong staff support and competitive retirement benefits, all while maintaining fiscal responsibility to the taxpayers.
I’m Deborah Mann Rodriguez, and I’m asking for your vote to continue serving on the MCCSD Board of Education. As the first person of color to be elected in our District’s nearly 70-year history, I’ve fought to ensure every voice in our community is truly heard. During my tenure, we’ve achieved real results: connecting students with premier STEM programs at Stony Brook University, enacting stronger safety policies, protecting our LGBTQIA+ youth, and delivering on effective fiscal responsibility. Let’s keep moving forward. Vote for me so we can continue building a safe, inclusive, and excellent District for every student!
