Permission Change Information

Parents/guardians must complete and submit this form (one form per student is required) to prohibit their child from using biometric finger scanners to make cafeteria purchases.

The purpose of the finger-scanning ID system is to speed up the cafeteria lunch lines, giving the children more time to eat and enjoy their food.  Students are securely and easily identified with a simple finger touch, and parents/guardians can accurately track their child's cafeteria purchases. The new finger-scanning technology eliminates the need for ID cards, ID numbers, and manual entry, therefore ensuring a faster and more efficient lunch service.

Students who do not use this system will need to memorize their ID number and enter it manually to make a cafeteria purchase each time. If a parent elects to not have the child use the biometric finger-scanning ID system now, but changes their mind at a later date,  the parent will need to submit a written request to MC Food Service.
