Attendance Policy
Half year Courses: 5 or more absences will result in the loss of credit
Full Year Courses: 10 or more absences will result in loss of course credit
APPEAL PROCESS
A parent may appeal the denial of course credit for medical and/or personal reasons by making a formal request in writing to the ALC administrators within ten days of the denial of credit letter. The ALC administrators will notify all appropriate staff that an appeal process is in progress, gather all pertinent data then make the appropriate determination and notify the parent, student, and appropriate staff.
