    We are ending our third week of closure, our third week of social distancing. As I’m sure you’ve been feeling, it has been a disconcerting, uneasy time but it has also been a time that has highlighted our strong, supportive community’s care for our children and each other.

  • Clarification on Quarter 3 Grading

    The four secondary schools will be grading students per the directions below for Quarter 3. The philosophy driving this decision is to allow students to benefit from their efforts if they were having success in the 3rd quarter. Overall, the goal is to have no students harmed by the disruption of traditional instruction.

  • Letter from Deputy Superintendent for Instruction re: Distance Learning Program Start Date

    With the uncertainty that we face for the future, here at Middle Country we have been working diligently to be able to roll out our Distance Learning Program to students in grades K through 12 so that their continuity of instruction will be maintained during these troubled times. This roll out is scheduled to take place on April 15, 2020, if school closings are extended by the governor.

    OXHEAD ROAD ELEMENTARY IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT HOBBS FARM WILL BE COMING TO OXHEAD SCHOOL WEEKLY STARTING ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4TH FROM 4:00 P.M.—6:00 P.M. EVERY OTHER WEEK THEREAFTER, THE FARM WILL BE AT OXHEAD ON THURSDAYS FROM 4:00 P.M.—6:00 P.M. THEY WILL BE PARKING THEIR MOBILE FARM STAND IN THE FRONT OF THE SCHOOL FOR FACULTY, PARENTS AND KIDS TO PURCHASE FRESH PRODUCE AND EVEN FLOWERS!!!

  • Service Club - Making a difference through Community Service

    If you are interested in making a difference through community service, join the Service Club. The club will run many fun activities that make a difference in our school community, as well as our community at large. The Service Club will NOT be meeting tomorrow as previously announced. Instead, the club will be meeting on Monday, October 2nd in room 103 right after school. You will be taking the 3:40 bus home. Make sure you know which bus you need to take. Come join the fun!
