Extend the Projector Lamp Life
- Right click the volume icon in the task bar, located in the lower right of the desktop.
- Click on "Playback Devices"
- Find the playback device that is listed as a USB device and right click on it choose "set as default device."
To help extend the life of the projector bulb, the Board must be powered down after each use.
All power to the SMART Board should be turned off at the end of the day.
The projector can be powered off by the master power button, which is wall-mounted under the Board (the LED indicator will be a solid amber color when powered off).
For those SMART Boards that have a power-strip, please be sure to shut-off the power at the end of the day or when not using the Board.
- Shutting off the power strip will reduce Board downtime, as well as the costly replacement of the projector lamp.
