CHS Spanish Honor Society Members visit the Tenement Museum

On November 27th, members of the CHS Spanish Honor Society visited the Tenement Museum where students split into two groups to relive either the "Hard Times" or "Irish Outsiders" experience of immigrants in the mid-1800s-early 1900s in NYC. The trip was a positive experience for everyone involved because they were exposed to a tangible reality of immigration. The tenement served as a time capsule of the struggle of the past and is important in helping understand social divides today.
