Food Service Quick-Links

Fall 2020

The USDA has announced that they are extending the Free Meals for Kids program through December 31st, 2020. This means that all students whether in-person, hybrid or remote learners are entitled to a no charge breakfast and lunch daily.   In addition to providing more access to meals for students who may need this especially during this time, this will also help lessen the transactions between staff, students and food service workers. The no charge breakfast and lunch are for the reimbursable meals only.  Ala carte items will be charged at the regular rates. Although students will not be charged based on their current paid/reduced/free status, all families are encouraged to fill out Free & Reduced-Price Meal Applications if they can potentially benefit by the program. Please note, USDA issued a disclaimer that if funding runs out, the Free Meals for Kids Program will be discontinued, so please make sure to file 20/21 Free & Reduced-Price Meal Applications promptly, and also to set-up a MySchoolBucks meal account to view your child’s school meal history, or to start a pre-paid account for “touchless” ala carte purchases & future meal payments once the Free Meals for Kids Program expires.
