Thanksgiving Break: Free Meal Pack Pick-Ups
To expand community access to free meals over the Thanksgiving break long weekend, Middle Country Schools, in partnership with Whitson’s, is providing multi-day meal packs for curbside pick-up, at two school locations, on Tuesday November 24th.
Thanksgiving Break: Free & Reduced Price Meal Application Reminder & Importance
We urge all families eligible for free lunch from last year, to re-file Free and Reduced Applications as soon as possible, regardless that all meals are free this year due to the pandemic’s Free Meals for Kids Program. Having an officially approved application on file ensures continuity of free meals thru October 2021, and accurately reflects our communities rate of federal and state reimbursements due back to the Middle Country community. Click here to print & complete an application and submit it to your child’s school or mail to Centereach High School, Food Service Dept., 14 43rd Street, Centereach, NY 11720.
Pandemic Free Meals Reminder
Even though families should still file Free & Reduce Meal Price Applications, please be reminded that Middle Country Students can access one free breakfast and one free lunch per day based on Middle Country’s participation in the Free Meals for Kids Program.
As the days get shorter and colder, in-school learners can pick-up meals at their school kitchens or though their elementary school daily pre-ordering procedure.
Remote learners can pick up a free meal pack at the DistrictWide CurbSide Pick-up location at the Newfield High School location.
